Our story

Built by people who love animals and the land.

Terrapura began with a simple belief: the animals we care for deserve better than dusty straw and resin-heavy wood shavings — and the planet deserves better than single-use, carbon-heavy inputs.

Hemp hurd is the soft, inner core of the hemp stalk — a co-product of the high-quality hemp fibre industry that, for decades, was simply burned to reduce volume. We rescue it and give it a second life as premium animal bedding.

Every batch is screened, dust-extracted and compression-baled to Terrapura's specification — then packed under our My Healthy Hemp range for horses, poultry and small pets across Australia.

Our vision

A circular economy for animal and soil lovers — everywhere.

We're building an ecosystem where a single hemp stalk does the work of many — bedding the animals we love, then feeding the soil that feeds us. Less waste, healthier herds, richer ground, and lower running costs for the people who care for both.

A positive loop for animals, land, and the communities that tend to both.

What we stand for.
