Our products

My Healthy Hemp — a bedding grade for every animal.

Small animals and chickens get our fine cut for softness and nest-box comfort; horses get the coarse cut for a springy, supportive stable bed. Every bale is screened, dust-extracted and compression-baled to spec.

Every batch passes through an 8 m dry-heat tunnel at 400 °C for 30 minutes — sterilising the hurd and dropping moisture from 9.2 % to ~0 % before bagging.

How the cuts differ

Two cuts of hemp hurd — fine for small animals and poultry, coarse for horses.

Fine-cut hemp hurd bedding — short fibres, ~5–15 mm, for small animals and chickens

Fine cut

Small animals & chickens

Short ~5–15 mm fibres. Soft underfoot for burrowers, packs neatly into nest boxes, and absorbs quickly. Used in the 3 kg and 10 kg bales.

Coarse-cut hemp hurd bedding — longer fibres, ~10–40 mm, for horses

Coarse cut

Horses

Longer ~10–40 mm fibres. Springy and supportive under hoof, ideal for deep-litter stable beds. Used in the 15 kg and 20 kg bales.
